The Inquiry has now ended. There was some additional evidence on Thursday about the basis upon which the application for a Town Green has been made and then Mr Jafari (the landowner) and Mr Mair (his agent) gave their evidence and were cross examined. After final submissions on Friday, the Inspector closed the hearing announcing that we will know the results of his deliberations as soon as possible - we think between 6-8 weeks. We will let you know the outcome as soon as we know ourselves.
Well done, Steve and team. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for at least part of the second session. Fingers crossed for the right recommendation from the inspector, but don't forget, the Council is not obliged to follow his recommendation.
